    Sorry to say this has way too much seasoning in it.
    Sauteed the onion over a medium heat and continued to cook the squash at that level. At 10 minutes the squash was scorching and there was no liquid. Added liquid and continued to cook for another 5 minutes on a simmer heat.

I do like spicy though so that seasoning amount is OK for me, it can just be omitted by those who don't care for that flavor... And I don't remember ever having problems with liquid, so I'm not sure what to do about that situation, except to edit the instructions to say "add more liquid if needed" (which is what you did).
