Homemade Maple Syrup

  A simple recipe. Easy to remember. Thought I posted this once but couldn't find it. So here it is again.
  
  1 cup table sugar
  1 cup brown sugar
  1 cup water
  Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes.
  Remove from heat and stir in:
  1 teaspoon maple flavored extract
  1 teaspoon butter flavored extract (optional)
  Let cool before xferring to a container.
  If you want a thicker syrup use 2 cups brown sugar and nix the table sugar.
