Fiber

Ok, so we squeeze out all the juice from the fruits and veggies. What do we do with all that good fiber that scrubs out our insides?
I am not an anti-juicer fanatic. I own a juicer. There are a lot of tasty juice concoctions that can be squeezed up. What bums me is throwing out the fiber.
If this group can come up with recipes to use the fiber leftovers, it would be a great group.

Please don't try to juice a banana. It doesn't work.

pointsevenout: fiber is essential to our health, westill need toeat fresh fruits and veggies. juicing is just a nutrient boost for the body. as for using the pulp in recipes, i'm experimenting. such as carrot cake and cookies, relishes and salsa. also, bananas, avocados and any other fruit or veggie with a low water content cannot be juiced. another tip-- do not juice apple seeds, they contain traces of cyanide, and carrot and rhubarb greens are toxic.orange and grapefruit should be peeled, but i like using the zest in smoothies. happy juicing:)
