Leaves Changing? Just To Chat

Leaves Changing?

Can anyone from the Mass. or Vermont area tell me if the trees are changing colors yet? Also, are there alot of places to go apple picking in these areas? I'll be visiting the upper Mass/Vermont area on Oct 9th and besides visiting cheese farms, Ben & Gerri's Ice Cream factory and the teddy bear factory, we want to pick apples. Thanks so much for any info you can give! :)

All I can say is they are changing here in central NY so I can bet they are changing there as well. If you check the weather channel website it has a foilage report. have fun!

Yes the leaves are changing in Mass. The next 2 weekends are the best for seeing the color. I don't know apple picking places in the area you are going to be in. I am just west of Boston. I am sure some will be able to help you and I am sure there are places in those areas to pick apples. You could google it .

I checked the Weather Channel website and it was very helpful. It said that the trees are 10 - 50% changing.

Thanks Pleclare, I guess we picked a great time to go up there then! I'll try to Google the apple picking sites.

I just found out our trip is cancelled! We thought we had reservations at a certain resort, but it turned out they gave us a hotel instead. So we were so pissed off that we cancelled the trip. We're going apple picking on eastern Long island this Saturday instead. I'll have to get my Ben & Jerry's at the supermarket! LOL! I love any flavor that has chocolate and nuts in it!
