Christmas Break!

  Hi! I can't believe it's been five years since I created this group! Your kids/ grands are probably grown by now! I hate that this group is such a low active one; that was so not my intention ~ I'm guilty of getting caught up @ school and haven't had (taken) the time to add new 'stuff'. It's about that time, though ~ Christmas break ~ and I know kids of all ages need to be BUSY! What if we all added just one new idea ~ whether it's a recipe that your kids like to prepare with you OR a cool craft idea. Our grandbabies are all grown up now, and I really miss the kitchen time with Nana. I teach English and reading to middle school and high school students ~ they are all extremely creative; I'm trying to come up w/ something really cool to do Thursday or Friday this week to kick-off our Christmas break. I don't have access to the kitchen at school, so I'd love for you to post an idea or two that involves 'making stuff' that would appeal to 13-18 year-olds. Having to follow written directions is a great reading activity, by the way! Thanks, and have a merry, merry Christmas!
