Bread Crusts

    I'm ashamed to say that I always throw them away. Any one got any bright ideas about what they could be turned in to??

    I always save the ends off of the loaves of bread and let them dry out completely. Then pulverize them in a food processor. I then store the crumbs in a tightly sealed jar for later use. The crumbs are used in recipes that call for bread crumbs. For example, I have several casserole recipes that call for buttered bread crumbs as a topping.
