Homemade Cream Soup

    Canned soup is really expensive now, not to mention all the junk that's in it. Here is a recipe for homemade to add to your casserole recipes.
    Cream Soup Substitute
    2c. non-fat dried milk
    3/4c. cornstarch
    1/4c.chicken or beek bouillon particles
    2 tblsp.dried minced onion
    1 tsp.thyme
    1 tsp.basil
    1/2 tsp.pepper
    Mix ingredients and store in airtight jar in refrigerator.
    Use as substitute for creamed soup in casserole recipes. To use: Mix 1/3c.mix plus 1-1/4c. water add 1 tsp.butter or margarine.
    Cook till thick and sub for 1 can cream soup. Mix recipe makes enough to use for about 10 cans of creamed soup.
