  Great group!
  Have been making a lot my own staples for years.
  Here is a recipe mix my cousin sent me years ago. I haven't bought Ranch Dressing since!
  
  Ranch Dressing Mix
  15 saltine crackers
  2 tblsp. dill
  1/4 c. onion powder (optional)
  1/4 c. garlic powder
  1 c. dried parsley
  1/2 c. onion salt (optional)
  1/2 c. dried onion flakes
  Mix and store in airtight container.
  To make, add 1 tblsp of the mix to 1 c. milk and 1 c. mayo Mix well and store in refrigerator.
  (I use 2 tblsp of the mix, 1 c. non-fat milk and 1c.low-cal mayo. Have also used 1c.low cal mayo, 1/2c. yogurt and 1/2c. buttermilk)
