Beef roast in the microwave

    Cooking a beef roast in the microwave is fast and easy! Here's how I do it.

    Season your roast. I love to do it with quite a bit of freshly ground black pepper, sea salt, and garlic powder. Place in a shallow glass dish and cover with wax paper.

    Microwave on Medium about 5 minutes per pound. When the roast is almost finished, heat your oven to 400, remove the wax paper, and put the roast in the oven for about 10 minutes to brown a little bit.

    That's all there is to it. :) Of course, you can add vegetables if you want. I do that now and then and add them about 10 minutes before the roast is finished in the microwave.
