So it's Saturday

    Good Morning Everyone.

A beautiful day here indeed! The storms we got yesterday were nothing much at all. We had 4 squalls blow thru and each one dumped rain and wind for about 10 minutes. It was dreary all day but today a nice cold front settled in. Temps in the mid 70s(f), low humidity, and a nice cool breeze. I take it the storms went further north from the sounds of what you got Kimmer.
Not sure what our plans are today but I want to make the two desserts for our dinner tomorrow so it's done. I want to make a ricotta pie for me and will make lemon pie for DH. I don't make full size pies, I make small ones which equate to about 1/2. Will also make ham tomorrow, a tossed salad, and probably scalloped potatoes.
No clue yet about dinner tonight. Maybe burgers.

Attached pictures are those of a real live Easter Bunny. LOL! Bella.

Bella is so cute. She has a sweet face.

It is a nice sunny day. Not sure what the temperature is supposed to be but it is 56 F right now. We have to run to post office to pick up a package. Whatever it is, we need to change the address so it goes to the PO Box! The post office for our home address is about 30 miles away, more or less, and on back roads, over a bridge that is ancient and really needs to be tested for damage during the big floods a couple of years back.

Will probably not be cooking much tomorrow since we have church activities much of the day. So no idea about supper. Maybe eat out? Tee hee!

Must get dressed so we can get going. Have a nice day.

Bella turned out to be a very good bunny. Some chew relentlessly but she doesn't. She is also very respectful of her boundaries and has never jumped or even tried to jump her pen which is only 2 feet high. She truly is a joy to have. Such a sweet good girl.

Sounds like you are feeling much better Karen! and I'm glad you can join in your church activities again. Yikes on having to get a package so far away. Enjoy your day out, I say get something to eat while out.

Yummy sounding pies you are making, Linda. Bella is absolutely beautiful! Nice to hear she is such a good bunny. We weren't so lucky with the rain. we now have a pond in the backyard again, which means other people will have flooding problems. We have been very lucky never to have had a problem.

Weird on how far out of the way you have to go to pick up a package that doesn't have you PO number on it, Karen. I guess it is just one of those glitches in the system. Glad you will be able to do some church activities tomorrow.

Den went grocery shopping early this morning and he said the rush had already started. He was home in ample time though. Not much happening here today and I am not sure what we are having for dinner yet.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Yikes on the pond in your yard Joce but I guess having it in the backyard away from the house isn't so bad. Like you said you are luckier than others. Glad Den didn't have too much of a problem shopping.

Wow on having a pond in your back yard, Joce. We have come close to having a swamp or mudbath at times, but no ponds - yet!

We picked up the package - it was a pizza set that went with the Emeril air fryer 360 we bought. Then swung by Crow Creek -- I had a small (it was still big!) taco salad with salsa and sour cream. Wayne decided on burger and fries. I love their taco salads, they vary depending on which cook makes them......no standardization there! Probably don't want much for supper, that is for sure. I figure at least I can taste the taco salad, which is more than I can say for the catfish I had yesterday on the way to church......not the restaurant's doing, just my post-chemo side effects leaving me experiencing milder foods tasting like cardboard. Eventually this too shall pass.

Mel and AC are outside. Newcat is on the porch, probably not far from AC. Mel and Newcat got into a singing match outside, now Mel is hiding under the storage shed out back and refuses to come out or come inside. As soon as Trouble and AC heard the other two yowling they flew inside -- Trouble stayed, AC finally opted to go outside and ignore Newcat. Don't know how long that will last, but Mel doesn't like the outdoor cat at all, so we may have a long period of adjustment. Fritz is on Wayne's lap, well, beside him in the recliner is more like it.

It is 73F, the temps are beginning to drop, a bit unusual for 2:00 PM. Tomorrow should reach 80 F. Since the only shoes that don't kill my swollen feet are a pair of Crocs sandals that adjust on top, and steroids-wieght-gain made my dress pants too tight, I will be wearing jeans and a dressy shirt. Thank goodness this is not a formal type congregation.

    Have a nice day everyone.

Good afternoon and hello to all. Bella is so cute Linda! We had bunnies years ago (white ones) when the kids were very young. Had got two for Easter one year. The place that I got them told me to keep them in the same pen as they were very close. ?? Ok, did so. Well the one bunny must have eventually become possessed and one morning we woke up to a horrible sight. He had killed the other bunny! Traumatic experience for the kids, lol! We kept bad bunny for another week or so and then one day while feeding him he bit me and bit me hard! I could not have that for fear of him biting one of the kids so I figured I was going to have to have him put down. The kids pleaded with me not to do that so I asked one of our friends, who at the time lived a little bit north of us and had a large, fenced in, woodsy property more in the country, if he would take the bunny. He had other animals roaming freely around. He said of course and that's what happened. So lil bad bunny got to live out his life roaming freely but still fed so he didn't have to fend on his own.

I think jeans and a dressy shirt with your crocs will be just fine Karen. This steroid weight gain too..........will pass soon, I'm sure.

Preparing for tomorrow. About to make deviled but "blessed" eggs, lol. Then set the food serving table. Have a couple of other things to do too yet tonight. Will wait until tomorrow morning to set the dining room table.

Grilling steaks and a potato packet for dinner tonight.

Hope all enjoy the rest of the day and if I don't get here tomorrow hope all have a wonderful Easter Day!

It is a glorious day here and nice enough to get outside for a stroll with LD. We took a nice walk this afternoon and we both enjoyed it.
Will be grilling burgers tonight and making a salad to go with them.

Cool on the pizza set Karen! Do I foresee homemade pizza in your near future? LOL! Yum on taco salad. That sounds so good. Oh-My on the cats! Funny how each one reacts. I'm sure you will look nice tomorrow in your jeans and dressy shirt.

SP Kimmer. Oh my on the bad bunny. As cute and fluffy as they are if you put two together who hate each other they can be nasty. Hormones don’t help either.
Yum on deviled eggs and steak for dinner.

Um.............so we went finally to see daughter's house tonight. Just a quick visit as we need to get dinner going and she had just come home from the grocery, Which she texted me and said come on over still putting things away but no worries. Ok, so we did. Future hubs and new father of my grandchild barely gave us an acknowledgement that we were there. He was still bringing things in from the truck from the grocery, Yes, there are still boxes and stuff just piled around because they just moved in. I get that. But he was clearly upset that we were there??! Daughter had no prob with it and showed us around the house. Which is huge! Kaiden has his own room with his OWN access to the bathroom! Double doors from the hallway and his room. Tori has her own room (even though she does not live there!) Baby will have her/his own room and Karli and Keven have their room. Wonderful lay out for a house for them. Pool is not screened in but they do have a lovely back area before the pool that is screened in. Told daughter I was very pleased and loved that it is less than 3 minutes from us! Kevin, never came in while we were there, never said a word to us and seemed annoyed that we were there. When we left, he was mowing the lawn and gave a wave as we left. Don't know what to think of this. I know he did not want us over until everything was in it's place but............really! Talked to Benny tonight and he said that he had offered to help them move last weekend and Kevin had said no. Even Benny was taken aback by that as he has helped his sister move...........every time! Benny does not think much of Kevin.............that worries me! They moved everything by themselves. Ok that's fine but when someone offers to help and you decline........... I'm a bit worried now because I thought this guy was what my daughter needed. Not thinking that so much now and wondering if he is just latching on to a professional woman with a good income..............hhmmm We will see how he acts tomorrow in our house for Easter Dinner. Hubs is not happy! This guy has mentioned numerous times how "well off" we are. Well, to a degree, we are............but not to your benifit!

Ok rant over, lol. Just had to get that out somewhere! Thanks for reading, lol!
