    Good Morning Everyone.
It's crisp and cool this morning with a bright blue sky and sunshine. We had an overnight low of 60(f) and it's only about 63 now. I'm loving it.

I pot a bottom round roast the other day and have it in the crock pot cooking. I added onion, garlic, celery, and carrots to the pot with beef broth. I'll thicken up some of the liquid for gravy when we eat. All I have to say is it better cook up tender.
I need to run out in a bit and get my hair trimmed.
Will write more when I get back.

Good Morning Linda and nice Avatar choice! :) It was -13C/8F this morning when I woke up. Glad you're enjoying your cooler temperatures. Oh yum on your Roast. That'll be delicious. Are you still going to that same place to get your hair cut with all the little booths in one place near the groomer I think?

Kimmer I was so envious of your dinner last night. It sounded wonderful! I too have bought such things at the grocery store because they were so pretty! LOL. I love sausage and kielbasa and the like. I'm shocked that you didn't put it out with your Thanksgiving feast and it would have been inhaled but I guess you already had enough stuff. And so you had this awesome spread last night and tonight is Cheese Night!!! No fair!!!! LOLOL!

Hope Wayne's test results come back good Karen.

Think I'll make Shepherd's Pie for dinner this evening. Am hoping for good news today.

    Good morning.

We won't be seeing 60s for a while, Linda. High today is around 48 F. It is 35 now, clear and cold. Snow forecast Wednesday evening but I will believe it when I see it. We have a chiro appt. Wednesday morning and a WalMart pickup afterward. Yesterday we did venture into one of the biggest WalMarts around, in Jefferson City. It is huge. Even when lots of people are there you don't feel crowded. I even found a rug for the bathroom to put in front of the shower. It is blue and gray, same as the shower. I love veggie beef soup, really should make some. Wayne will eat it but it isn't his favorite.

Fire is going and Fritz and Mel are feeling too chipper for their own good. Mel chased Trouble all over. Fritz tried to assert his dominance over the cats but was too assertive and I made him get on my lap and look into my eyes. He hates that. He is in front of the wood stove soaking up some heat. No more terriers for sure!

We won't get the results of his tests until sometime later this week or early next, Janet. Shepherds pie sounds great. We had sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast, I won't want anything else until dinner tonight.

Woke up at 4:00 this morning, gave up and sat in my recliner and watched "Dog Whisperer" reruns. I guess I dozed off about 6 ish because it was over and I had to rewind the DVR to find out how it ended. LOL!

When Wayne is up to it we have to go to Pet Smart in Rolla and get a new cat tree - - they have informed me that the vacuum is in front of their's so they snagged the end table to let me know. Brats. With a cat tower, they attack it with gusto and it wears out sooner than I want. But it definitely saves the furniture.

Wow on the huge Walmart in Jefferson City Karen! LOL @ Fritz hating to get up on your lap and look in your eyes. LOL. Nice on sausage and gravy! Ugh on waking up at 4. I'm pleased to say I had a really good sleep last night which I really needed to recharge my batteries. Fun on a new cat tower!

I'll have to change my avatar tomorrow, LOL!
It's staying cool today. Still at 63(f) but the sun is warm.
LD loved coming with me to get a trim. On the way home we pick up a pizza for lunch and now I'm stuffed. After the pot roast is cooking I may put it aside for tomorrow because I won't be able to eat a full meal. Not sure because I'll still have to make something for DH.

I still go to the same place with all the individual rooms for varying services for my hair Janet. I really do like my stylist and her work. And yes, same building that my vet/groomer is in. The veterinarian who owns the practice owns the building.

I too am loving your dinner last Kimmer. I often prefer to pick at a little of this and a little of that.

You are crispy cool Karen and I'm hoping you don't get snow if you don't want it. Nice that you found a bathroom rug in the larger Walmart. How are Fritz and Jasper getting along these days? Good luck to Wayne with his test. I was up till about 3:00 last night. Could sleep, I was achy I guess with the weather change and finally took 2 Advil which helped.

Have we decided if we are going to make a private group? and if we are who is setting up the group and can we all be added to monitor it?
If anyone who isn't participating now wants to they can simply join.

Yum on pizza for lunch Linda. Ugh on being up to 3 a.m. last night. Hopefully the Sandman will visit both your and Karen (and Joce!) tonight!

I'm on the fence about making ODD a private group but if the majority feel strongly that we should I'll go along with the decision. I've always thought it was nice it was Public simply because it was easy to get people to join in if they wanted. I've never made a request to join a Private group because I have no clue who's in there or if I'll like the or what they talk about. But again, I'm totally okay with whatever happens. I don't know how to set up a group but perhaps it's evident and I've never looked. Adding everyone to monitor it sounds like a good idea.

The hospital called this morning and said the rules have changed and they'd let me in today for 1/2 hour only to see Mom but not again until maybe when my Covid test comes back. They did another Covid test on Mom today too. LOL. She wasn't happy. It's her 3rd one. It was strictly protocol as they read that whenever you switch someone from one health facility to another they have to have one, and it does make sense. I was shocked they've let me in to visit her already to be honest!

Heading outside to see if I can cut some tree boughs and make myself a Christmas swag for the door here. I have all cut pine, cedar and balsam boughs under the basement walkout back home and bet they'll not get made in to swags this year. A waste. :( Plus all my Christmas cards and address book are at home on the kitchen island. Oh well, it was a priority call and I didn't think I'd be needing them.

I don't mind if it is a private group either. We should decide who will run it and a name for the group as well. The person who does can turn it into a private group or go public if I remember correctly. Ask Michelle she might know better as she runs IMI 11. Only they can change the avatar and I think only a couple of people to help with admin. It has very limited abilities either way. We might get some people back like Shona as well. This site is becoming a dinosaur or already is. Too bad we can't find a better site or have someone take this one over.

I got a nice walk in. Found some pretty red branches from some sort of bush and also found balsam and cedar boughs so I think I'm good to go. Got my 10,000 steps in which was a bonus.

As you can see I managed to get back on to GR. Couldn't access it for hours. Thanks again Linda for rescuing me and putting that Shepherds Pie recipe up on the GR FB page for me.

Feeling more relaxed and happy than I have in about a week I think! Mom looked really good today. I think it's going to work out.

Good evening and hello to all. We were quite nippy here this morning Linda. Think we started the early hours of the day at 48F. But was a nice sunny day and the wind calmed down which made it feel so much colder last night. NIce you and LD got out and you had a trim. Now you have me craving a good ole roast with potatoes and carrots! Yes Janet, I had so much at Thanksgiving that it really wasn't needed. And hubs would have probably looked at me like I had twelve heads, lol. I actually had it in the back of my mind to bring to the shop last Tuesday before Thanksgiving to have while Bob was there and have just a nice little spread of meats and cheeses together. But totally forgot about it! But yes, it worked out perfectly and was sooooo good last night!

I'm on the fence as well regarding a private group. In some ways I really like the idea, mainly because of the spam. But as I noticed a couple of people posted lovely words regarding you, Janet and your mom, that they maybe would not have been able to because they might not be members of this group. I don't know if they are or not but that would be a shame to miss. And ever so often someone pops in that we haven't seen in awhile. So I will go along with whatever everyone else wants to do too. We haven't had too much trouble in the group, just mainly GR as a whole. Just was really upsetting to see a post in the group itself!

    Yes..............it's Tuesday!

    Sleep Sweet All.........................as always..........................
