Freezing Smoothies

  I read this somewhere and tried it out and it works great ! I'm the only smoothie drinker here and it got to be a chore to make one at a time and then clean the smoothie maker. Sometimes I'd want one but just didn't want to take the time. Last weekend I made a big batch and then froze them in individual containers. Now when I want one, I just take one out of the freezer and put it in the fridge. The next morning I've got one ready to go and they even keep their consistency in the fridge for the day. I've even left it in the fridge an extra day and still good - just didn't have the icy texture that I love - just creamy and cold. I'll be making smoothies a lot more often now !
