Partial Allowed and Disallowed Food List

    This is NOT a complete list, but just something as a quick reference Guide.

    You should eat:

    Meats/Proteins, including:

    * Lean beef and pork
    * Canadian bacon
    * Poultry
    * Game meats, such as venison
    * Fish and shellfish
    * Eggs

    Vegetables and Legumes etc, including:

    * Beans
    * Lentils
    * Peas
    * Spinach
    * Lettuce
    * Squash
    * Zucchini
    * Mushrooms
    * Asparagus
    * Artichokes
    * Cabbage
    * Celery
    * Cucumbers
    * Broccoli
    * Brussels sprouts
    * Eggplant
    * Onions
    *Sweet Potatoes
    * Nuts

    Fruits, including:

    * Apples
    * Lemons and limes
    * Pears
    * Cherries
    * Raspberries
    * Kiwis
    * Grapefruits
    * Apricots
    * Melons other than watermelon
    * Tomatoes
    * Tangerines and oranges

    Misc Foods that you can eat:

    *Dairy products
    *Whole grains and cereals --- just don't add
    sugar to them! i.e. Cheerios (Yellow box)
    Also you can have Whole grain flours to
    cook with.
    *Spices
    *Dark chocolate
    *Brown rice Cheerios in the Yellow box,
    *Bread with Stone Ground Whole Wheat is fine.
    Make sure that the first 3-4 ingredients
    don't have High Fructose Corn Syrup
    *Slow cooking old fashioned oats are also okay

    You should not eat:

    * High Fructose Corn Syrup
    * Baked beans
    * Carrots
    * Corn
    * Ripe bananas
    * Raisins
    * White bread, pasta, rice
    * Potatoes
    * Beer
    * Bacon with 3 gm or more of sugar added,
    *fried chicken (this is coated or breaded
    fried chicken)
    *most cold cuts with added sugar to it.
