So, I know at least some people are wanting to eat healthier. So here are some tips to make regular meals into healthier meals.

Spaghetti - Cut out the beef and add the turkey. Its simple and truthfully you can't really taste the difference. You can buy ground turkey just like you can ground beef. If you prefer meatballs with your spaghetti then try turkey meat balls. Also, it doesn't hurt to eat a salad with the meal either.

Garlic Bread - Make homemade garlic bread. Preheat the oven to 400 and use wheat bread white bread or even french and sour dough bread. To make it melt some light butter in a pan and add some garlic to the butter with a little basil. Cook for 10 minutes in the oven switching the sides of the bread after 5 minutes. Tada! Toasty yummy garlic bread that probably has less sodium then your average box of garlic bread. And cheaper in the end.

By the way, Garlic can help with a cold its good for your health so if you love it use it in everything. Garlic is great.

Organic Veggies are great for eating or for cooking. There isn't much of a price difference and they taste better too. And their better for you. Same with fresh meat. If you buy local fresh meat its probably way better for you then that packaged stuff everyone buys.

Buy all-natural. The food is just as good. Yes, its a bit more expensive, but if you watch your money carefully it will pay off in the end.(And maybe help you shed a few pounds while your at it.)

    Great tips...
I've heard that for baking you can substitute applesauce for oil [such as in a cake]...
