Help

    Well, I used gelatin for the first time tonight and everytime I follow instructions from a website I usually don't like the result. Tonight was no exception. Per the instructions it said to almost boil 2 cups of milk and add 1 tbs gelatin and stir. It also said it takes twice as long with dairy such as milk or cream. Well, after 2 minutes I wound up with a ball of gelating floating. I then tried again but this time mixed the gelatin with cold water which was much better but I still had lumps like my Mothers gravy. so I put it through a strainer and will wait on the outcome. Anyone know how to do this correctly? If so send me an email, Thanks!
