Cinnamon-pecan Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 1/4 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 c powdered sugar
  •  Party Roll dough*
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c sliced pecans, toasted & divided
  • 2/3 c firmly packed brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Roll each chilled dough portion into a 12-inch square on a lightly floured surface.
  • Step #2 Brush evenly with 1/2 c butter.
  • Step #3 Stir together brown sugar, & 1 c pecans; sprinkle a third of mixture over each square, cinnamon, leaving a 1/2-inch border on all sides.
  • Step #4 Roll up, jellyroll fashion.
  • Step #5 Pinch seams to seal.
  • Step #6 Cut each roll this into 12 (1-inch) slices, & place this in a lightly greased 9-inch square pan.
  • Step #7 Cover up & let rise in a warm place (85°), free from drafts, 1 hr or until doubled in bulk.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 mins or until golden.
  • Step #9 Stir together powdered sugar, & vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls, milk, & sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c pecans.
  • Step #10 *1 1/2 (32-oz) packages frozen bread dough, thawed, may be substituted for 1 recipe Party Roll dough.
  • Step #11 Tip: Frozen bread dough is very elastic; after rolling it out, let it sit for a few mins, & then roll it again.
