Creamy Chicken On Linguine Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 4 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 c water
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 1/4 c heavy cream
  • 1 (16 oz) package linguini pasta
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon, crumbled

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large saute pan, heat oil, butter & garlic over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add chicken & cook this until juices run clear.
  • Step #3 Remove chicken from pan let cool & slice diagonally into long strips.
  • Step #4 Reserve oil in pan.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions on package.
  • Step #6 Drain.
  • Step #7 Reheat oil in pan, stirring often, add onion & saute, until onion is soft but still white.
  • Step #8 Add bullion cube & water; bring to a boil & let simmer uncovered for approximately 10 mins.
  • Step #9 Stir in cream, milk, green onions & Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #10 Place pasta in a bowl, layer chicken slices in a decorative pattern over pasta, pour the sauce over top of chicken & around pasta.
  • Step #11 Garnish with parsley or any herbs you desire.
  • Step #12 Serve as soon as possible.
