2 lbs cauliflower, washed & broken into flowerets (9 c) or frozen cauliflower florets .
cayenne pepper, to taste .
3/4 lb American cheese or mild cheddar cheese, sliced thin .
1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted .
2 slices bread .
pepper, to taste .
1/2 c celery, sliced .
2 c milk .
1/2 c onions, sliced .
1 tsp salt (or to taste) .
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
Step #1 In a large, uncovered pot of boiling salted water, cook cauliflower 16 mins (follow package directions if using frozen cauliflower); drain well.
Step #2 Cut crusts off bread & soak in milk for 10 mins.
