Nyonya Prawn/shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c coconut milk .
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, mixed .
  • 5 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 1 whole onion, mixed .
  • salt .
  • 3 chili peppers, mixed .
  • 400F g prawns or shrimp, unshelled & leave the tail .
  • 6 garlic cloves, mixed

Directions
  • Step #1 Sauté lemon grass, garlic, onion & chili with vegetable oil until its turned slightly brown or when you can smell the aroma.
  • Step #2 Add salt to taste.
  • Step #3 Then add in the coconut milk & stir until it's dried up.
  • Step #4 Lastly add in the prawns/shrimp.
  • Step #5 Cook until prawn is done.
  • Step #6 Ready to serve.
  • Step #7 This dish is meant to be dry & the sautéed ingredients will enhance the prawn's flavor.
