Ingredients
  • black pepper, freshly ground .
  • salt .
  • 1 tbsp very finely sliced shallots .
  • 1 1/2 tbsps unsalted butter .
  • 1 lb finely sliced whole cultivated mushrooms

Directions
  • Step #1 In a skillet melt the butter over moderate heat.
  • Step #2 Add & cook the shallot for about 30 seconds.
  • Step #3 Add the sliced mushrooms, salt & pepper & cook this until the liquid rendered from the mushrooms evaporates, about 10 mins.
