Snowman Salmon Spread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 c) .
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice .
  • 1 (4 oz) container whipped cream cheese, softened .
  • 1 lb smoked salmon, skinned & boned .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard .
  • 1 tsp creamed horseradish

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix 8-oz & 3-oz packages cream cheese, lemon juice, onions, the salmon, mustard & horseradish.
  • Step #2 Cover up & put in the fridge at least 2 hrs but no longer than 3 days.
  • Step #3 Shape two-thirds of the salmon mixture into a ball; place on serving plate.
  • Step #4 Shape remaining salmon mixture into a ball; place on top of larger ball.
  • Step #5 Cover up loosely & put in the fridge about 1 hr or until firm.
  • Step #6 Frost snowman with whipped cream cheese before serving.
  • Step #7 Garnish as desired with decorations.
  • Step #8 Serve with crackers, bagels or vegetables.
  • Step #9 About 3 c spread.
  • Step #10 Decorate with fresh rosemary, dried cranberries (crown); sliced olive pieces or raisins (eyes & buttons); carrot (nose); pimento or red bell pepper (mouth); radicchio or carrot ribbon (scarf); asparagus or celery (arms).
