Ingredients
  • 1 Perfect Pie Crust

Directions
  • Step #1 --FILLING----- 8 Tart apples 1 Lemon (grated peel, juice) 1/2 c Sugar 1 ts Cinnamon 1/4 c Butter; in small pieces Prepare pastry according to recipe.
  • Step #2 Fit bottom pastry into 9-inch (use 20 or 25 cm size) pie plate.
  • Step #3 Roll out circle for top.
  • Step #4 preheat your trusty oven to 350 F (175 C).
  • Step #5 Fill pie shell with sliced apples.
  • Step #6 Mound them up high.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with lemon peel & juice, sugar, & cinnamon.
  • Step #8 Dot with butter.
  • Step #9 Cover with pastry top, making vents, sealing & crimping rim.
  • Step #10 Bake 45 mins, or until crust is brown.
  • Step #11 Cool before serving.
