this is my good friend's favorite recipe so I trust that its good, and wanted to share with all of you, have a good one!

Ingredients
  • 4-5 black tea bags
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 handfuls of fresh mint
  • juice of three limes
  • 1 1/2 cups light rum
  • 1 cup cold water

Directions
  1. steep the 4-5 black tea bags, 2 cups sugar and 2 handfuls of fresh mint in 3 cups simmering water for 5 min. stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Strain into a pitcher;
  3. add the juice of three limes, 1 1/2 cups light rum, 1 cup cold water and another handful of mint.
  4. stir vigorously, crushing the mint with a wooden spoon; chill.
  5. Serve over ice with lime and more mint if desired.
