Root Beer Bread

- 1 qt. root beer shopping list
- 1/2 cup lard or shortening shopping list
- 2 packages yeast, dissolved in 1/2cup warm water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 2/3 cup molasses shopping list
- 3 cups rye flour or whole-wheat flower shopping list
- 7 cups white flours shopping list
How to make it
- Heat root beer and shortening.
- Put in salt and molasses.
- Cool.
- Add yeast.
- Stir in flour.
- Knead and let rise twice.
- Bake at 350 to 375 degrees, for 30-40 minutes.
