This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McNabb Estate in Bedford, Texas in 1981.

Might swap the jalapenos for birds eye chillies. This recipe's got Indian roots and would work well with floury potato substituted for some cauliflower.
Remember to add only enough water to help steam it - don't cover the collie with water!!
