How to make it

  • Pre heat the oven to broil
  • Mix the marinade together and place in a gallon plastic freezer bag, add the shrimp and seal.
  • Marinate in the fridge for at least an hour
  • Place the shrimp in a glass pyrex lasagne pan
  • Dot with butter pieces and shake a lot of black pepper and a bit of cayenne on the shrimp
  • Broil until the shrimp curls into a "C" (usually about 2 minutes each side if that).
  • Place the pyrex dish on the table and serve with a side of pasta or with a loaf of italian bread and dunk to your hearts content or pour the entire thing over the hot pasta.
  • Grilling: we recently purchased a George Foreman grill and used it to grill the shrimp.
  • Place shrimp on bamboo skewers (about six each).
  • Place the skewers (4 at a time) on the grill, close the top and grill for about 3 minutes on high - then eat!
