How to make it

  • Combine milk, flour, and dry mustard in a blender and mix.
  • Pour into the top of a double boiler and cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
  • Stir butter, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce into thickened sauce.
  • Season, to taste, with salt ,pepper and cayenne.
  • Stir in shrimp and heat thoroughly.
  • Stir in sherry.
  • Serve over rice.
