party size Crab Cakes

- 6 lb. crab meat ( my note: this could be tuna fish or canned salmon) shopping list
- 24 medium eggs shopping list
- 2 c. pure olive oil shopping list
- 3 c. white sugar shopping list
- 3 c. diced onions shopping list
- 2 medium green peppers, diced shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. seafood seasoning ( Ex: Old Bay ) shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. dry mustard shopping list
- 1/3 c. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. basil leaves shopping list
- 4 Tbsp. celery seed shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. white pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. red pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 bunch chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 c. salad dressing shopping list
- 1 dash of garlic salt shopping list
- 6 Tbsp. hot sauce shopping list
- 6 1/2 c. Golden Dip breading mix or panko bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Make patties (about 5 ounces each).
- Cook at 350 degrees in deep fryer until golden brown.
- Makes about 60 cakes.
- Oven bake:
- chill formed patties 1/2 hour and then bake 350F about 30 minutes or golden, turn carefully if desired to brown other side, 1/2 way during cooking time
- Serve with desired sauce on the side
- I imagine these may freeze well too
