Parmesan Grits

- 3 C water shopping list
- 1 C milk shopping list
- 1 C quick-cooking grits shopping list
- 1 teas salt shopping list
- 1/2 C parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water, milk, grits and salt to a boil in a heavy, large saucepan.
- Whisk constantly.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until grits are tender and creamy, stirring occasionally.
- About 10 minutes.
- Add cheese and whisk until melted.
- Season to taste with pepper.
