Slow Cooker Carnitas

- 3-4 lb pork butt or shoulder, most fat trimmed off. shopping list
- 1 to 1 1/2 cup of chicken broth shopping list
- 1/4 cup of veg oil shopping list
- 1 tsp of salt or to taste shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves smashed shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of oregano shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cumin shopping list
How to make it
- Cut pork but into fourths. In a large skillet heat the veg oil until hot. Season pork liberally with salt and pepper. Add to pan, and let brown nicely. Once all sides are browned transfer to crockpot, juices and all. Add 1/2 cup of chicken broth, smashed garlic, and remaining seasonings. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours. Shred with fork and add to tacos, or filling for burritos or tortas!!ENJOY!!!

Made it tonight. After the slow cooker I put on a pan and fried it a little bit with some olive oil spray. Bottom line your recipe is delish!! Please add more! :)
