Fresh Pear and Gorgonzola Salad

- 1 Cup walnut halves/Pieces shopping list
- 4 - 6 Cups Torn mixed greens shopping list
- 1/2 Cup vinaigrette (I use La Martinique. . .it's the best with this recipe) shopping list
- 2 pears, peeled, cored & sliced shopping list
- 1/4 C gorgonzola (or to taste) shopping list
How to make it
- Place walnuts in dry skillet and turn the heat to medium.
- Toast, shaking the pan frequently, until they are aromatic and begin to darken in color; 3 - 5 minutes.
- Set aside and let cool.
- Toss the greens and most of the vinaigrette.
- Divide among 4 plates.
- Cover with pear slices.
- Sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola all over.
- Crumble or chop walnuts, then scatter over the salad.
- Drizzle remaining vinaigrette over salad and serve.
- Enjoy.
