Fresh Pear And Gorgonzola Salad Recipe
There is just something about fresh pears combined with crumbled gorgonzola, tasted walnuts and an italian dressing with a bite! One of my favorites.

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Walnut Halves/Pieces
  • 4 - 6 Cups Torn Mixed Greens
  • 1/2 Cup Vinaigrette (I use La Martinique. . .it's the best with this recipe)
  • 2 Pears, peeled, cored & sliced
  • 1/4 C Gorgonzola (or to taste)

Directions
  1. Place walnuts in dry skillet and turn the heat to medium.
  2. Toast, shaking the pan frequently, until they are aromatic and begin to darken in color; 3 - 5 minutes.
  3. Set aside and let cool.
  4. Toss the greens and most of the vinaigrette.
  5. Divide among 4 plates.
  6. Cover with pear slices.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola all over.
  8. Crumble or chop walnuts, then scatter over the salad.
  9. Drizzle remaining vinaigrette over salad and serve.
  10. Enjoy.
