How to make it

  • Place walnuts in dry skillet and turn the heat to medium.
  • Toast, shaking the pan frequently, until they are aromatic and begin to darken in color; 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Set aside and let cool.
  • Toss the greens and most of the vinaigrette.
  • Divide among 4 plates.
  • Cover with pear slices.
  • Sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola all over.
  • Crumble or chop walnuts, then scatter over the salad.
  • Drizzle remaining vinaigrette over salad and serve.
  • Enjoy.
