Sunnies Apple Blackberry Crisp

- 6 cooking apples (such as granny smith) - peeled, cored, and sliced 1/2 inch thick shopping list
- 1 pint fresh blackberries, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats shopping list
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, divided shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place apples, blackberries, lemon juice, brown sugar, nutmeg and cornstarch in bowl and toss to mix. Place mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour, sugar, oats, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon to form a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with remaining 1/4 cup butter, and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
- Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned and apples are tender. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Yum!
