Green Chile Cheeseburger Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs. good angus ground chuck (I prefer 80/20)

3 cubanelle peppers

2-4 jalepenos depends on how hot you like it

2 thick onion slices

3 cloves of garlic minced

pinch of cumin

pinch of oregano

salt and pepper

4 slices sharp provolone cheese

4 good semi hard rolls

Directions

place the peppers and onion slices on a hot grill and let char on all sides

place charred peppers in a zip top bag for 10-15 min. then peel of the skin stem and seed the peppers

rough chop the peppers and onion place in bowl with garlic and spices and mix well

place beef in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste mix

divide into 4 half pound burgers grill to desired doneness

add a good dollop of green chile to the burger top with the provolne and let cheese melt remove from grill and put on bun
