green chile cheeseburger

- 2 lbs. good angus ground chuck (I prefer 80/20) shopping list
- 3 cubanelle peppers shopping list
- 2-4 jalepenos depends on how hot you like it shopping list
- 2 thick onion slices shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic minced shopping list
- pinch of cumin shopping list
- pinch of oregano shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 4 slices sharp provolone cheese shopping list
- 4 good semi hard rolls shopping list
How to make it
- place the peppers and onion slices on a hot grill and let char on all sides
- place charred peppers in a zip top bag for 10-15 min. then peel of the skin stem and seed the peppers
- rough chop the peppers and onion place in bowl with garlic and spices and mix well
- place beef in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste mix
- divide into 4 half pound burgers grill to desired doneness
- add a good dollop of green chile to the burger top with the provolne and let cheese melt remove from grill and put on bun

Yowza, yowza, yowza. This has my name written all over it. Love green chilies, love peppers of any kind. This sounds fantastic. I know what I'm having next weekend for the football games. Yummers. Great post and a very high 5.
