That Must Be A Zin Jelly

This an easy jelly great to give as a gift
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 C Red Zinfandel shopping list
- 1/2 C. fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 2 2oz. packages of pectin shopping list
- 4 1/2 C. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Combine zin,lemon juice. and pectin in a large pot bring to a boil stirring frequently
- add sugar return to boil stir to disolve
- boil hard for 1 minute stirring constantly
- remove from heat skim if necessary
- laddle into 1/2 pint jars leaving a 1/2 in. head space tighten lids and process 5 minutes in a boiling water bath.
- for gifts try ladeling hot jelly into wine glasses and sealing with parafin
