How to make it

  • Combine ground beef with remaining ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Shape into 12 patties.
  • These will be thin-ish but remember you are going to put two together in the end.
  • On six of the patties put your stuffing ingredients.
  • Place another patty on top of the stuffing.
  • Seal the edges together very well, you do not want them to split as you cook and lose the goodies.
  • Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 10 minutes, turning once.
  • These burgers can also be pan grilled, just be careful with the flips!!
  • I now serve these on Oroweat Sandwich Thins. Not so much bread.
  • Or just on a plate with a salad, no bread at all!!
