Polish Luau

- 12 ears of sweet corn, husk and silk removed shopping list
- 3-4 pounds of red skin potatoes, smaller is better shopping list
- 1 bag of baby carrots shopping list
- 2 turnips, cut into 1" pieces shopping list
- 2-3 zucchini(or summer squash) cut 1 1/2" thick shopping list
- 1 head of cauliflower, broken into large florets shopping list
- 1 head broccoli, broken as above shopping list
- 4 medium onions(your choice), quartered shopping list
- 1 medium head green cabbage, cored and rough cut shopping list
- 12-16 sausages(brats) or 3-4 rings of kielbasa/summer sausage shopping list
- 18 can of beer(I prefer not to use light beer) shopping list
How to make it
- Clean and cut vegetables.
- Layer in pot as listed.
- Top with sausage.
- Pour in all the beer, buy more for drinking!!
- Clamp lid with spring clamps(look like clothes-line pins).
- Lid should have small hole-1/2".
- Set flame of burner at medium high.
- Set pot on burner.
- Usually you will see steam escaping the hole at 15 minutes.
- At that time, set your timer for 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes all is cooked.
- Sausage may be grilled to brown.
- Drain fluids and serve.
