Memphis Dry Rub Recipe

- For the ribs and rub 3 racks baby back pork ribs (about 7 pounds), or 2 racks pork spareribs (6 to 8 pounds total) shopping list
- 1/4 cup sweet paprika shopping list
- 4 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 1/2 teaspoons dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon sea salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin shopping list
- For the mop sauce (optional) shopping list
- 2 cups cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup yellow (ballpark) mustard shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix it all together with a whisk and store in airtight container.
- Sprinkle in generous amounts on your ribs and put in refrigerator 1 hour before cooking.
