Cinnamon And Sherry Chicken Aka Boys Chicken

- Boneless chicken breasts thinly sliced and cut into small pieces shopping list
- ground cinnamon shopping list
- Sherry cooking wine shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- butter (1 tab) shopping list
- flour shopping list
- dried basil shopping list
- sea salt shopping list
- Black and white pepper shopping list
- Large saute pan shopping list
- Large mixing bowl shopping list
How to make it
- Thinly slice chicken and cut into medium size pieces
- Put chicken into large mixing bowl
- Put touch of olive oil onto the chicken and mix
- Add salt, pepper, basil
- Sprinkle flour - just enough to coat
- Set bowl aside
- Pour olive oil into pan and put on med-high heat
- Ensure entire pan is coated with oil
- Once oil is hot, place chicken pieces into pan (don't over-crowd the pan)
- Sprinkle chicken with cinammon while in pan
- Cook on one side until brown, then flip each piece
- Sprinkle opposite side of chicken with cinnamon
- Let chicken brown
- Once chhicken is browned on both sides, add sherry wine to pan and lower heat to med-low range
- Add tab of butter
- Mix periodically
- Serve before the pan has dried
- (Cleaning hint - put water and soap into the pan immediately after it is empty - the cinnamon carmelizes and is like sugar to remove)
