This is a simple salad with lots of great flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbls. water
  • 3/4 cup half & half
  • 6 cups of your favorite green lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
  • 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions
  1. Add sugar, vinegar and water to container with tight fitting lid
  2. Shake until sugar is dissolved
  3. Add cream and shake until well combined
  4. Toss lettuce and bacon
  5. Add dressing and toss just before serving
