Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup taco salsa
  • 2/3 cup tortilla chips, crushed
  • 2 cups mexican Blend cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup bisquick baking mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • non stick pan spray

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray pie plate with pan spray
  2. in a large skillet cook the venison, onion and garlic until meat is no longer pink in the middle
  3. Drain the venison, then add the chili powder, cumin,oregano, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup of the taco sause and stir
  4. layer crushed tortilla chips evenly in bottom of pan
  5. Spoon the venison meat mixture on top of the cheese
  6. In a medium bowl beat the eggs until frothy
  7. Add the milk and Bisquick, mix well and pour over the ingrediants in pie plate
  8. bake this impossible Venison Pie for allotted time or until knife inserted into the middle comes out clean
  9. Remove pie from oven and cover with rest of taco sause and cheese
  10. let pie set 10 minutes before serving
  11. Serve pie with salsa and sour cream if desired
