How to make it

  • Place the salmon steak in small sheet of cooking foil
  • Add a small knob of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of tarragon
  • Fold the foil tightly
  • Then place in a pre warmed oven 180deg until throughly cooked through
  • Approx 30 mins depending on size of steak

    Thats right, I was forgeting you guys over there do it different, but you can do it at a lower temp, just be careful with the timing, depending also how thick the steak is. Have fun sport and thanks for the advice. I wont make that mistake again.

    The cooking temp threw me a bit, but then I noticed you are from the UK and deduced it was 180 C, not 180 F, right?
