Clam Puffs

- 15 Cherrystone clams shopping list
- 1 tbl parsley flakes shopping list
- 1 tsp minced garlic, optional shopping list
- 2 drops hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 2/3 cup instant mashed potatoes shopping list
- 2 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 cups peanut or corn oil shopping list
How to make it
- Place shucked clams and juice in a blender. Blend clams in an on-and-off technique until just minced. Pour into a bowl and add parsley, garlic, hot pepper sauce, potatoes, and bread crumbs. Mix together with a spoon, then form tablespoon-sized balls. Drop nto 2 cups of oil and deep fry until golden puffs form.
