How to make it

  • I a bowl,cream butter,cream cheese and sugar till light and fluffy.
  • Beat in egg yolk and extract. Combine flour,baking powder and salt;gradually add to cream mixture,mix well. Stir in 3 c coconut. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or tilldough is easy to handle.
  • Roll into 1" balls and roll in remaining coconut. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins or till lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into center of each cookie;sprinkle with coarse sugar. Cool on pan 2 to 3 mins. or till chocolate softened. Remove to racks to cool completely.
