How to make it

  • rinse and pat dry chops
  • Mix seasoned salt, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika together in a small bowl
  • Season chops with seasoning mix and reserve the leftover
  • Heat oil in a large fry pan I always use Grandma's big cast iron fry pan
  • Brown chops on both sides remove from pan and set aside
  • Add onions to pan and saute till transparent
  • Add remaining sesoning mix to flour and add to fry pan to make a roux when rue startrs to brown add a couple of cups of water and bring to a boil
  • Return chops to pan and reduce to a simmer
  • Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Enjoy
