Smothered Porkchops

- 8 Porkchops shopping list
- 1 onion sliced shopping list
- 2 t. seasoned salt shopping list
- 2 t. garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 t. pepper shopping list
- 1/2 t. paprika shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup canola oil shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- rinse and pat dry chops
- Mix seasoned salt, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika together in a small bowl
- Season chops with seasoning mix and reserve the leftover
- Heat oil in a large fry pan I always use Grandma's big cast iron fry pan
- Brown chops on both sides remove from pan and set aside
- Add onions to pan and saute till transparent
- Add remaining sesoning mix to flour and add to fry pan to make a roux when rue startrs to brown add a couple of cups of water and bring to a boil
- Return chops to pan and reduce to a simmer
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- Enjoy
