How to make it

  • Toss radish with vinegar and set aside
  • Make a teriyaki sauce by combining sugar, soy sauce and skae in a small bowl
  • Place in sauce pan, stir and bring to a boil
  • remove from heat and let cool
  • Place salmon in a shallow baking dish and pour suace over filets
  • Chill 1 hour
  • Place broth in pan and add rice and bring to a boil, cover reduce heat to low and simmer about 40 minutes or rice is tender, liquid absorbed
  • Remove from heat and let rest covered about 10 minutes
  • Bake salmon in a 450F oven, spooning sauce over fillets at least twice
  • Cook until firm about 10 to 12 minutes
  • Fill bowls with rice, salmon and teriyaki sauce
  • Top with the daikon and green onion
