Sausage Joes

Good sandwich to make for company when they come by!
Ingredients
- 1 - package Regular Flavor pork sausage shopping list
- 1 - cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 - cup finely chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1/4 - cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 - cup chili sauce shopping list
- 2 - teaspoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 6-8 - sandwich buns shopping list
- 4 - ounces (1 cup) shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, to taste (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1 Cook sausage, onions and peppers in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until sausage is finely crumbled and no longer pink.
- 2 Add tomato sauce; cover and cook 1 minute more.
- 3 Stir in chili sauce and Worcestershire.
- 4 Remove from heat; season to taste with hot pepper sauce if desired.
- 5 Spoon mixture onto bun bottoms; sprinkle with cheese if desired.
- 6 Add bun tops and serve warm
