Amish Chicken And Macaroni Cassorole Recipe
This is an old Amish favorite,really true comfort food.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. grated onion
  • 2/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup cooked tiny baby carrots(I like ones in jar)
  • 1/4 tsp. papricka
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • Also may add favorite cheese if desired( optional)

Directions
  1. Combine all the ingrediants,except the eggs and milk
  2. Place into a greased 1 1/2 quart cassorole.
  3. Combine the eggs and milk, pour over other ingrediants
  4. Set into a large pan of hot water.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees.,about one hour or until firm.
  6. Great with hot rolls and salad.
