This is one of those gross-looking Halloween punch recipes that will surprise your guests with its great taste. Sure, it looks like a bacteria-ridden swamp, but tastes fresh and lemony. This is another recipe that can be adapted both to kids and adults. Read more For grown-ups, add the bottle of rum. Ingredients
- 2 cans (12 oz. each) frozen lemonade concentrate, partly thawed shopping list
- 2 cans (12 oz. each) frozen limeade concentrate, partly thawed shopping list
- 1 bottle (750 mL) light rum ............ shopping list
- 2 bottles (2 liters each) lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up) shopping list
- 2 quarts of lime sherbert shopping list
How to make it
- In a large punch bowl, stir together the lemon and limeade concentrates. Add the soda.
- Pour in optional rum. Stir.
- Float scoops of lime sherbert on top.
- For an even grosser, grey-tinged look, you can use rainbow sherbert (this gives your punch a dirty, swampy look, and is popular with lots of Halloween punch recipes.)
- make iced hands from plastic gloves or throw whatever gross things in it like eyeballs etc........lol
- To make floating ice hands for your Halloween punch recipes, simply fill clear plastic food-handler's gloves with water, seal tightly with a rubber band, and freeze. You can pop them in the water with the glove still on (this way, they won't melt and water-down your punch), or run them for a moment under warm water and carefully remove the glove. Easy! You can also use colored water or various juices for an even creepier effect.
