How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix ingredients. Spread onto a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • Cool slightly
  • Drop 2/3 cup peanut butter in tablespoons on top of the oat bars. spread when melted.
  • sprinkle a 12 oz bag of chocolate chips on top of layer of peanut butter. Spread when melted.
  • Put baking sheet into the refrigerator (or freezer if you want to eat them sooner).
  • When the bars are hard and the peanut butter and chocolate layers are set, cut into Squares.
  • During the summer, I recommend storing the squares in the refrigerator.
