How to make it

  • In 3-1/2 to 5 qt. slow cooker,combine chile peppers,garlic,chile powder,lime juice and hot pepper sauce. Add onion and chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or high setting for 2-1/2 to 3 hours
  • Remove chicken and onion from cooker,reserving 1/2 c of the cooking juices. Using 2 forks,shred chicken. In med. bowl,combine chicken,onion and reserved cooking juices.
  • Spread refried beans on tostada shells. Top with hot chicken mixture and shreeded cheese. Serve with lettuce,salsa,sour cream and olives.

    I love a good tostada, these sound really good especially with the chicken and beans. Im going to try these asap! Thank you for sharing another yummy recipe!
